Welcome to 3C!

We are happy to have you here!

My name is Ariell Sipel and I will be your child’s third grade teacher this year at Archway Arete. For those of you who do not know me, this will be my fifth year at Great Hearts. I previously assisted within Kindergarten through third grade, where I found a love of learning and a passion for teaching. I attained my BFA with an emphasis in photography, and am grateful to appreciate and seek out beauty in our everyday. I would like to think of myself as a lifelong learner; I am an artist, a lover of reading, enjoy travel and am always up for an adventure. This year will be full of wonder as we learn new things, ask questions, and challenge ourselves daily.

I am very much looking forward to this bright new school year, seeking out the truth and beauty in our every day and helping your children learn and grow!

A new adventure awaits!

Sincerely,

Ms. Sipel

A note from our lovely assistant:
Hi all! My name is Judah Lowe and this is my first year with Archway Arete. I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with a double major in Psychology and Business Administration. I grew my love for teaching while coaching swim lessons for 6 years and working with youth both in my church and throughout college. I love traveling and seeking out adventure; taking the time to appreciate the beauty to be found in our world. I consider myself to be a life-long learner and have a passion for reading and poetry. I am so excited to begin this journey with you this year!

If you have not already, please fill out the 2019/20 3C Questionnaire, which will give us those important details that we will reference throughout the year! (Please complete by Monday, August 5th.)

Important Information for Meet the Teacher:

Everyone is encouraged to attend Meet the Teacher night tomorrow evening, August 1st. Families are invited to join us from 3:00-7:00pm. If you are not available to come say hello tonight, please let me know, along with any questions you may have about kicking off the school year right.  Please bring your (unlabeled) school supplies with you, so you can help us get organized and prepared for day one. Please keep in mind that Meet the Teacher is more of a meet and greet opportunity. If you have specific concerns regarding your child, please email me so we can schedule a time to meet or talk on the phone outside of Meet the Teacher.

We are looking forward to meeting you!
