Homework Survey results

Good morning, 3C families!

I have reviewed the results from our homework survey. It looks like most are experiencing homework times within the Academy Expectations. The main concerns were regarding math homework taking a long time. In my class, I try to leave time at the end of lessons to have students take 10 minutes to begin math homework. In the coming days, I will be using the workbook pages as classwork, rather than the textbook problems. This will allow many children to get a head start, and many may even finish in class. If you find that your child's homework is taking a long time, please have them do every other problem, or even cut them off once you think they have had enough practice. Always write me a note in these instances though, so I can take that into account for their homework grade. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you!

Ms. Sipel
