It is my pleasure to announce that Spelling Bee season is upon us! Your child will be participating in a class Spelling Bee during the week of November 18th. Please use the word list sent home with them on Friday to study and make sure to read over the Spelling Bee letter for important dates and details. Language Arts: We will continue reading Narnia this week. Spelling will be normal. We will also be working on grammar. There will be a test Thursday so students should be reviewing their study guide nightly.
Math: There will be a test on Math units 1-4 on Tuesday. Monday nights homework will give you a good idea of the variety that will be found on the exam. Afterwards, we start our unit on money! Can you volunteer for math groups Wednesday morning? Sign up on the Sign Up Genius.
History: Students will be comparing and contrasting the differences between the two Caesars: Julius and Augustus. Also, taking a closer look at their accomplishments and how their lives changed Rome.
Science: This week, students will begin learning about the nervous system. Please encourage your children to continue to study the bones of the skeletal system for their test on Friday.
