Quarter 1, Week 5:

Language Arts: This week we will do 15 words on Tuesday and 15 on Wednesday. There will be a spelling test on Friday. For grammar we will review what we have learned this year and there will be a test on Friday. A study guide (that looks suspiciously like the test) will be handed out on Tuesday. Our first literature book is Pinocchio. Your child must have the book to participate in literature.  We will be memorizing “The Crocodile” by Lewis Carroll. Children should review it a bit daily at home. Recitations will be on Wednesday the 11th.

Math: We will be working on word problems and addition/subtraction up to four digits. There will be a short quiz on Wednesday and Friday. Can you volunteer for math groups this Monday morning? Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0d49afac2fa1fc1-math1
